V Rum Launches Their Brand New RTD Range

Eastleigh, Hampshire – 11th August 2025.

V Rum is delighted to launch its first-ever range of ready-to-drink (RTD) rum cans, offering premium bar quality British rum in three vibrant flavours:

· Spiced Rum & Cola Zero

· Tropical Crush (Premium White Rum & Tropical Soda)

· Grapefruit Twist (White Rum & Pink Grapefruit Soda)

Each can comes in at 7% ABV, featuring V Rum’s award-winning spirit, crafted entirely in house from fermentation to final spirit, and packaged in sustainably sourced recycled aluminium cans, aligning premium experience with sustainability.

V Rum is proud to be part of the small number of UK distilleries that produce alcohol completely in house, from raw material to the final liquid, ensuring consistent, top-tier quality and flavour. This is the same rum basis that has received multiple awards, including the recent Great Taste Award for both their Overproof, and their Premium White rum which is showcased in the new RTD range.

RTD spirits in the UK are growing rapidly and there is a huge demand for them, with the UK off-trade leading the way. RTD sales grew over 20% in 2024, with spirit-based RTDs being among the fastest expanding segments. The market is expected to grow a further 16%* in the next 10 years, which is why V Rum decided now is the time to launch their exciting new premium range.

V Rum’s commitment to the planet is embedded into every aspect of their production:

· Their Hampshire distillery runs entirely on renewable energy from Ecotricity and utilises an advanced heat recovery system, rainwater harvesting, and sources UK refined molasses to reduce transport emissions.

· They use sustainably sourced recycled aluminium cans, reducing waste and transport emissions

· Their packaging is also thoughtfully ecofriendly, with FSC certified cardboard boxes via UK-based suppliers
